Formally used as a missile store for the adjacent RAF Camp, now occupied by Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue, currently used for
URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE
Incorporating, a fully enclosed shoring rig, housing a range of options for numerous shores, a further development to this rig will allow all shoring work to be carried out undercover or outdoors.
A newly developed Breaking and Breaching rig with over 100 metres of varying sized tunnels, incorporating a number of sacrificial slabs and space for a few surprises within the system, 15 metres vertical access through sacrifical slabs and other obstacles adds to the complexity of this faciltiy, also incorporated is a number of cages and voids designed for live casualties to be placed within, for canine search, these are located under a number of simulated collapsed structures. The design of this training rig allows a whole host of simultaneous actions to be carried out by a varying number of teams within the system.
Full lecture facilities, including changing and refreshment areas.
Dedicated MPV driver training area.
Canine search facilities to include confined space and wide area search.
Purpose built trench collapse simulation area incorporating safe working at height.
Coming soon the Collapsed Structure, a purpose built, fully interchangeable residential collapsed structure located undercover incorporating numerous options for Tech Search, Breaking and Breaching, Lifting and Moving and Confined Space work.
