CM  Alun Roberts


Alun joined Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue in early 1997 and was posted to Gainsborough Fire Station where he stayed until September 2006 when he transferred to the USAR team at Lincoln North. He was promoted to Crew Manager in 2002 and was the Station Rope Rescue and RTC link instructor.
Alun is a Rope Rescue Supervisor, a Phase 1 USAR Instructor and is currently undertaking Diplomas in:Technical Response and Incident Management and Operational Management and Technical Support. Along with Dave Alun has taken the lead on Trench Rescue in an attempt to enhabce the capability of the USAR Team

CM John Crowder


John joined the retained in 1987 working at Lincoln Fire Station, joining Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Service Control in 2001, gaining promotion to Crew Manager in  2004, together

with Jon Henderson and Ash, John was successful at the 2005 recruitment campaign eventually joining USAR in November 2006 after completing his initial courses at Fire Service College in October 2006.  After 4 years on Green watch John has now been transfered to Blue Watch as Team Leader

Tech Martyn Street


 

Martyn joined Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue in 1992 at Gainsborough retained, before joining wholetime in May 2000 with Darren Stones, Martyn joined UKFSSART in 2001, forming part of the USAR interim team from its inception, Martyn transferred to USAR Wholetime in May 2006.  Martyn has now taken on the lead as the Barriatric project Co-ordinator for the organisation

Prior to joining Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Martyn worked as a state registered Paramedic for Lincolnshire NHS Trust.

Tech Chris Jefferson


Oz joined the service some time ago, no one knows when. Oz has been on the team since it's conception and is one of the most experienced on the team. Previously Oz was stationed at Grantham, before transfering to the USAR Team in 2006.

Chris joined Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue retained at Wragby Fire Station in April 2002, prior to this Chris worked as a toolmaker in Market Rasen where is also provided retained cover, Chris was promoted to Crew Manager at Wragby in 2004, where he still provides cover.

 

Chris was another sucessfull applicant of the infamous 2005 recruitment campaign surviving the USAR selection at Bramley Lakes. And recently came out on top for the recent ISAR selection process which was held in secret location!!!!!
